About us

Dee Elle Co. delivers emotionally engaging programs to schools, colleges and sports clubs around NSW, providing practical, evidence-based strategies to build self-esteem and combat negative self-image. Through presentations and physical activities we learn about how our minds work, the role social media has on our self-esteem and body image, as well as the science of habit building.

Students leave the program with applicable take home tools to continuously challenge social media trends, feel confident within themselves and create positive mental health habits.

Our Story

To help students

recognise that who they are is enough and inspire positive change in the way we speak and treat ourselves

Adolescents are at a higher risk of developing negative body image.

In 2023, is was discovered that 90% of Australian teenagers have some level of body image concern.

End of 2012 I was taken out of school and into emergency with renal failure, a heart that was barely beating, a body too weak to stand and an inner dialogue consisting of purely self hatred.

Start of 2013 I was released as an outpatient and faced the long, steep journey of learning to like who I was and what I looked like- in a world that is continuously reinforcing that you are not enough.

During 2020 lockdown, I started my own business with the mission being, no adolescent should be going through their teenage years disliking who they are and lacking the confidence to participate in life.

2021 I begun studying psychology and developed well-being programs for the community.

2024 Dee Elle Co has now reached over 4,000 students with our 'Creating Your Best Self' programs! We are so grateful for the opportunities, communities and people we meet along the way.
